Group Manager


Summary: While managing and motivating a production crew, this individual will be responsible for all aspects of his/her crew's performance, including but not limited to: safety, quality, production, productivity improvement and training.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assures all training is current for reports (i.e. safety, process, quality)
Assigns workers to work stations to meet production requirements.
Interprets process specifications for workers.
Monitors production and adjusts work assignments, supply of material, and machine operation when necessary.
Refers extensive machine repairs to maintenance personnel.
Confers with Managers and Maintenance to receive instructions and exchange production information.
Trains workers in equipment operation.

Education/
Experience:
B.S. or B.A. from a four-year college. Demonstrated experience and knowledge of lean manufacturing process principle in a manufacturing environment.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
